One of the best kept secret that Jamaica has is golf, Jamaica has over 12 courses that are beautiful matched by their many difficulty. The Western part of Jamaica has it share of golf courses.
Half Moon Golf Club
Half Moon Golf Club Designed by Robert Trent Jones, this extremely spacious course is known for the unforgettable challenges. Famous for the challenges of the 535-yard 3rd hole and the relatively short 362-yard 4th hole. The 3rd hole offers a choice of driving over a strand of trees or driving down the open side to the green, guarded by a water hazard on the right.
Tryall Club
Tryall Golf Club Former home of the LPGA Tour's Jamaica Classic and The Johnny Walker World Championship. This picturesque course, with its rolling fairways, devilish greens and unique layout is considered the finest in the world.It was build 1960 by Texas architect Ralf Plummer on the site of a 19th century sugar plantation.
Cinnamon Hill Golf Club
Cinnamon Hill Golf .Designed by renowed golf architects Von Hagge, Smelek and Baril, the course opened in April 2001. It immediately pass the test by the Caribbean Classic golf Championship. The course plays from sea level to 900 feet and is blessed with refreshing daily trade wind. A 18th-century sugar mill ruins, aqueducts and stone wall run throughout the course.
Negril Hills Golf Club
Negril Golf Located in the green hills, high above the white beaches of Negril, this course offers the challenging topography, natural beauty. Its elevated tees and greens, gently undulating fairways and picturesque water hazards distinguish this sporty, 18-hole golfer's paradise.
Sandals Golf
Sandal Golf 700 feet above sea level, a few miles east of the resort town Ocho Rios. This course is one of the most scenic 18-hole courses in Jamaica. Noted for its majestic trees. The 10th hole offers a spectacular view of the sea.
Superclubs Ironshore Golf
Superclub Golf Built in 1972 in the midst of a luxury villaresort near Montego Bay, Ironshore's 18-hole course was designed by Canadian Robert Moote and is noted for its challenging layout with a number of intriguing blind holes.
